AAA Aluminum Products was founded by William Knowles in 1950 and incorporated in 1954. Since 1970 the company has been run by his son-in-law, Robert Henderson, who joined the firm in 1959.

To this day, Robert Henderson is still very much involved, but day to day operations are now run by his son, Steve Henderson, who has been with company for over 20 years. This is now a 3rd generation family-run business.
